Don't Lift Your Arms! Three Simple Ingredients To Get Rid Of Embarrassing Armpit Odor

Underarm odor is the smell that's created when the bacteria on your skin tries to turn protein into acid and it's embarrassing when it happens at the most inopportune times. There are several causes for the odor. Spicy foods, dehydration, stress, even wearing tight clothing can cause the odor to spread from your body to the nose of an unsuspecting victim. It's even worse if you have sensitive skin and most deodorants cause you to break out in a rash. Luckily for you, there are several home ingredients that won't just mask the smell; they will get rid of it all together.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is the universe's gift for all homemade remedies. It can clean and cure most anything, including underarm odor. This simple and inexpensive ingredient is a natural anti-bacterial, so it will kill off the bacteria that grows on your skin, thus eliminating the odor as well.

Mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a small spray bottle of water and spray the solution on your armpits. You can also dip a wash cloth in the solution and apply it to your underarms while you are bathing. Apple cider vinegar also helps to lower the amount of pH levels your body produces, keeping the odor away. Don't worry about the strong smell of this ingredient. The smell goes away once it is dry.

Lemons

Lemons work just as well as apple cider vinegar, but it smells better when being applied. The acid in this fruit destroy the bacteria growth on your skin. Like the apple cider vinegar, lemons also help to keep you pH balance at normal levels.

Squeeze the juice out of two lemons, dip a small wash cloth in the juice and wash your armpits while showering. You can also pour lemon juice in a small spray bottle of warm water and mist your pits with it. It will remove the odor and leave your smelling fresh and clean.

Parsley

Parsley takes care of underarm odor in a non-acidic way. This spice is actually a natural anti-odor and will remove the smell and keep it gone so you don't have to worry about reapplying throughout the course of your day.

Boil a pot of water on the stove and add five chopped up parsley leaves. Soak a wash cloth in the solution and once it cools down to the touch, apply the cloth to your underarms. You can also drink the parsley water. This eliminates underarm odor by balancing out your pH from the inside out.

Underarm odor is the worst. It can ruin an intimate moment. Luckily, there are ways you can eliminate armpit odor, even if you have sensitive skin. By using one of the ingredients listed above, you will be on your way to enjoying a smell-free life.
